My name is Donald (Don) James Meyer. My family and I moved to Stevensville in 2003. I grew up in St. Joseph, graduating in 1986 and have family ties that date back almost 300 years including my Great Grandfather John Beers. After high school, I served a four year tour with the United States Army, serving mainly in Korea and Georgia and earning the U.S. Army jump wings. Airborne! I then joined the Michigan National Guard when I moved back to Berrien County.
I earned my Associates from Lake Michigan College and Bachelors from Central Michigan University. I currently work for the County of Berrien as a computer technician. Prior to that, I worked for Polaroid Digital Solutions Inc. which was located on the corner of John Beers and Red Arrow Hwy. in our great Village of Stevensville.
The Village is a great place to live. It is my goal as Trustee, to continue and promote the growth of this family friendly community. I have attended every meeting of the board for the last nine months prior to my appointment.
I see the current board as very competent, dedicated, and worthy of our trust. I hope to continue this tradition and work hard for the residents of Stevensville.
